Medeama Chief Executive James Essilfie has hailed the work ethics of Ghana FA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi, insisting criticism against him are ‘wicked and baseless’.
The young and vibrant football administrator believes Nyantakyi is ‘God-sent’ after spearheading a relative successful reign.
Nyantakyi has been hugely credited for transforming Ghana football since he took the mantle in 2005 but critics have accused him of running the game with constant attack of his administration.
But Medeama chief James Essilfie, has rubbished the relentless criticism of the CAF Executive Committee member, insisting he’s the right man to catapult the country to the apex of world football.
“Nyantakyi is the right man for this job. I don’t know why people attacking him without a just course,” he told Medeamaafmonline.com
“Look talk is cheap and anyone can sit at their comfort their homes and make hasty generalization.
“This man is God-sent, he came in at a time we needed a calm figure. You can’t say he’s perfect like any human being, he’s made some mistakes.
“But that does not warrant such attacks. Most of the criticisms are baseless, unfounded and malicious.
“It comes from minds who are simply wicked and want to see his back. But it will not wash. They can continue to pour venom; it will not make any difference.
“Some of us will continue to support him regardless of their useless tags.”
Nyantakyi was recently re-elected for a further four-year term by popular acclamation.
