Ex- Ghana star Mohammed Gargo set for Udinese return

Former Ghana international Mohammed Gargo is set to join Italian Serie A outfit Udinese Calcio beginning next month for a coaching training exercise.

Gargo, a former Udinese player retired from active football in 2009 and has since transitioned successfully from playing to coaching.

He has previously held coaching roles at local clubs; Real Tamale United, New Edubiase United and lately Okwahu United.

Gargo has now taken the bold step of enhancing his coaching credentials by joining the Bianconeri Friuliani on their pre–season tour this summer.

He added, on his next move; “I will be joining my former club Udinese at the end of the month on their pre –season tour on attachment after which I will make my decision on my next destination”

Mohammed Gargo, 41 years, played in Italy for eleven years representing clubs like Torino, Venezia and Genoa and played for Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich and Stoke City.

He is regarded as one of Ghana’s most successful foreign based players.
