Ex-Hearts coach Duncan slams Kotoko’s Dramani

Former Hearts of Oak coach David Duncan has openly criticised Asante Kotoko and reigning Premier League coach of the year Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, labeling him as a “noise maker”.

Duncan who was relieved of his post in November 2013 believes he has not been treated fairly by the media and soccer loving fans in the local league after tagging him as a chatter-box insisting that Dramani deserves that accolade.

“Many people think I’m the worst coach when it comes to expressing my ideas but Kotoko coach, Dramani is the talkative,” Duncan told Kumasi-based Jem FM. “He always talks, talks, talks but nobody seems to notice it.”

He added: “I talk not more than two times on radio in a season, but people think I’m the worst in the country, if they call me on radio and I talk, I’m a talkative but if I don’t also talk, trouble awaits me, why?”

Duncan was sacked from Hearts of Oak after rumours suggested that his remarks did not go down well with board chairman Togbe Afede XIV after Week 10 with 20 points having won six games, drawn two and lost two in the process.

He is expected to officially sign for boyhood and newly-promoted Premier League club Great Olympics ahead of the new season.
