Former High school basketball player turned NFL Defensive End Ezekiel “Ziggy” Ansah is set to make an appearance on “Courtside” today.
The premium television basketball program which airs on Ghana channel Kwese Free Sports at 16:00 GMT will host the Detroit Lions player before its live broadcast of Charlotte Hornets NBA matchup against Indiana Pacers.
Ansah moved to the United States after playing basketball at Presbyterian Boys Senior High School (PRESEC-Legon) and coaching Queensland International School’s Basketball Team.
After trying out for a spot on Brigham Young University’s Basketball Team, he found himself on the football team and dominated to get drafted fifth overall in 2013 by the Lions.
The 6 foot 5 inch Ansah plays basketball in his spare time and is a big fan of Cleveland Cavaliers Forward LeBron James.
His appearance comes after the show hosted two time NBA Champion and former Los Angeles Lakers Center Didier Mbenga.
Ansah’s interview will be held before Hornets-Pacers game tips off at 17:00 GMT.
