Vice President of the Ghana football Association George Afriyie has confirmed that the FA will take a decision on the appointment of a new Black Stars coach at their next executive committee meeting on Tuesday.

Several managers have been linked to the Stars job after the exit of Coach Avram Grant.

Some believe the GFA should consider given the job to an ingenious coach, but George Afriyie insists they will take a decision that will benefit Ghanaians.

"We will think that based on our two years and some few months with Coach Avram Grant, the experiences the things that went well , and wrong for us, based on the two competitions we attended with him, what are the lessons learnt, what is the new direction for the Stars these are what we will be discussing at the meeting,” he told Kumasi-based Angel FM
