FAKE player agent risks court action over false claims against Fatau Dauda

Blessing Danso Gyebi has been warned against making financial claims on Ghana goalkeeper Fatau Dauda or will be taken to court after it was established he wasn’t the one who brokered the deal that saw Dauda move from AshantiGold to Orlando Pirates.

Danso Gyebi claims he is owed 10 percent of Dauda’s salary in his move to the South African club.

The self-acclaimed player agent who is not licensed by FIFA was however unable to provide any documentary evidence to back his claim in a meeting held on Monday night.

It was however established that Danso Gyebi was the one who proposed the signing of Fatau Dauda to Orlando Pirates and was the source of contact with his former club AshantiGold.

The Miners paid over GHS 50,000 to Danso Gyebi for this role he played Fatau Dauda also made a top up of $2000 to him in appreciation for nominating him for the move to Pirates.

Gyebi however surprisingly over the past few months have been making claims in the media that he is owed by the Black Stars goalkeeper.

He also went on to invoke curses on the Chippa United goalkeeper prompting an initial court action from Dauda’s manager, Mickey Boafo.

It was on this basis that the meeting was held to establish the facts of the matter before any further action is taken.

Danso Gyebi was unable to prove his credentials as a licensed FIFA agent and was also unable to prove he had a contract or secured a mandate to represent Fatau Dauda.
