A delegation from the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA), is expected in Ghana on Thursday, June 21, to discuss the future of football in Ghana after the recent documentary on bribery and corruption in Ghana football.
Information gathered by the GNA Sports reveals that, the delegation is expected in Ghana on Thursday evening and would meet government officials led by Mr. Isaac Asiamah, Minister of Youth and Sports on Friday, June 22.
However, the number of officials expected from FIFA was still not known whilst the venue of the meeting remains on the chest of the Ministry.
The minister was originally scheduled to travel to Switzerland together with Mr. Isaac Addo General Secretary of GFA and Kurt E.S Okraku, Executive Committee member on Thursday, but the latest developments seem to have cancelled that arrangement.
The meeting is expected to discuss steps taken by the steps taken by the government to dissolve the GFA after a documentary by ace journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas on bribery and corruption in Ghana football.
