FK Jagodina team manager Vladica Milanovic has fired a strong warning at Asante Kotoko ahead of tonight’s 80th Anniversary Cup match at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
According to Milanovic, his side has come from a long journey and they are ready to inflict defeat on Kotoko in Kumasi.
The Serbian outfit came in as a late replacement for Greek side Veria FC as the game forms part of Asante Kotoko 80th Anniversary.
Though the Serbian side are not well known in Ghana, they will be counting on the latest poor results Asante Kotoko have recorded against clubs outside the shores of Ghana as they failed to beat clubs like Eulma and Beijaia all from Algeria at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
“Though it is an international friendly, we have come from a long journey. Because of the issues we had in Turkey regarding the weather and the time our flight flew."
“We arrived in Kumasi safely and we are fired up for action. We know Kotoko is one of the biggest clubs in Ghana and they are celebrating their 80th Anniversary."
"We are ready to inflict defeat on Kotoko in Kumasi because we also want to win the trophy at stake,” said FK Jagodina, the team manager said.
