An unnamed group led by failed Ghana FA Presidential aspirant Kwame Quayson have launched a bid to force Kwesi Nyantakyi into resigning from his post.

The group claims it will be mounting pressure from all fronts to have incumbent Kwesi Nyantakyi resign for ‘defrauding the state’.

The group led by Lawyer Quayson claim Nyantakyi has succeeded in duping the country over his co-efficient explanation over how monies were disbursed amongst Black Stars management committee members at the World Cup.

“We want Kwesi Nyantakyi to resign or better still force him to be removed,” said Lawyer Quayson.

“We have itemized a litany of things that shows clearly that Kwesi Nyantakyi abused his office and for that matter must be impeached.

“He has monopolized the system so much that the Executive Committee is even unable to call him to order over his gross misconduct.

“But now it is time for some of us to stand up to ensure that the right thing is done.”

Kwesi Nyantakyi was last month re-elected to lead the Ghana FA for another four year term at an extra-ordinary congress held in Tamale.

He stood unopposed following the failure of the likes of Lawyer Kwame Quayson to file their nomination for the position.
