Faisal to play King Solomon on Sunday

Accra, Feb 14, GNA - Kumasi King Faisal on Sunday will trek to Akim Oda as guest of King Solomon FC to engage in a special friendly match aimed at preparing the team as the Coca Cola Top Four competition heads to a home stretch.

Faisal were on Sunday giving a rude wake-up call by Real Tamale United (RTU) with a 1-0 defeat when they met at the Kumasi Sports Stadium and they intend to use the game to correct some of the defects detected by the technical bench during the game.

The defending champions who would be at home to face the "roaring" Kpando-based Heart of Lions in the final game, scheduled for Sunday, February 27 have decided to take advantage of the break of competition to shape the team ahead of next Sunday's crucial tie.

The Francis Oti-Akenteng-led technical team aims at introducing some players who are yet to see action in the six-week fiesta during the friendly so as to find possible replacement for influential Eric Gawu and Abubarkar Yahuza who have recently joined the exodus train.
