Fameyeh Eyes Black Stars

Former Ghana international and 1997/98 premier league goalking Joseph Fameyeh has said he is ready to solve the Black Stars striking problem if given the chance to justify his inclusion into the team. Fameyeh who plays for TSV Crailsheim a third division side in Germany .

Fameyeh who has scored almost in every game he has played revealed that,there are many Ghanaian players who play in the lower division in europe who can perform better than those playing in the top division.

In a telephone chat on Radio B.A.R, Fameyeh revealed his success in the third division league which include clinching the goal king title twice and always the leading goal scorer for his club TSV Crailsheim.

Asked why he has not moved to a Bundesliga club or a top flight team in europe,he recounted how some talented footballers from Ghana have had their career ruined after moving to big clubs in europe .He said, "football is not a matter of playing a big club but rather, playing regularly to keep your form.One has to be careful when moving to a club if one dosen't want to become victim of circumstance.".

Joseph Fameyeh praised the Black Stars for their success in the world cup in Germany which he said has given Ghanaian footballers the respect they deserve in europe and the rest of the world.

He advised authorities not to relax on their oars but rather do more for the team to regain the respect which was accorded the Black Stars the in the past
