Black Stars goalkeeper Fatau Dauda says the game against Rwanda will be a test of the team’s character.
Ghana will take on Rwanda in Kigali on the 5th of September knowing very well that, a win will see them take control of group H.
Rwanda won their first game of the qualification series thanks to a solitary strike from Ernest Sugira away in Maputo against Mozambique.
The Black Stars mean while thumped their opponents on the day Mauritius, 7-1 thanks to goals from Christian Atsu, Jeffrey Schlupp, David Accam and a brace each from Jordan Ayew and skipper Asamoah Gyan,Andy Sophie got a consolation goal for Mauritius on the day.
Experienced goalkeeper Fatau Dauda says they will have to guard against complacency and take the game very serious if they are to come out with all three points.
“I have been privileged enough to be with the team for long and I know that the game would not be easy,” Duada told GHANAsoccernet.com
“Home games are premium and we have to be much focused to be able to come out with all three points.
“But I am confident in our team and certain that we have what it takes to come out victorious on the day.”
