Ghana winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has declared his readiness for the upcoming English Premier League season.

The Black Stars forward will be making his debut in the most popular league in the world when Leicester City host Tottenham on Monday at the King Power stadium.

Issahaku played a starring role as the Foxes secured promotion back to the Premier League, making a 20-goal contribution while on loan from Sporting Lisbon.

He joined the former Premier League champions in the summer on a permanent deal and joined the team's pre-season camp in France.

“It’s just all about the team,” he told LCFC. “As we look forward to the season, it was a good test for us today to keep learning and I think we’ll look into the game and get the right things done," he added.

“We’ll keep on going. As we always keep working and learning how to go into the season, the whole team is ready for the season.

“I feel good,” the 20-year-old added. “As with the team, we all feel so good to start the season and we’ll keep on working until the season starts. I’m looking forward to this season and I can’t wait to get it started.”
