Hearts of Oak right back Fatawu Mohammed nears a switch to Zambian top flight side Nkana FC after arriving in the Southern African nation on Wednesday, GHANAsoccernet.com can report.
Mohammed has been out of contract since the end of last season but he was in negotiations with Phobians over a possible renewal.
The defender who can play as a winger is expected to start training with the Red Devils on Thursday in Zambia.
Nkana FC are looking to fight to the Zambian Super League next season and make an impact in the 2018 CAF Confederations Cup.
Mohammed scored two goals and provided four assists last season.
