Hearts of Oak have confirmed the exit of striker Gilbert Fiamenyo after refusing to renew his contract.
The 23-year-old's contract with the Phobians expired at the end of last season.
Fiamenyo revealed he was opened to an extension with the Accra-based club who have now decided to release the player.
Coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi did not include the burly striker in his squad for the 2015/16 season with the club confirming the former Heart of Lions man will be leaving the club.
Fiamenyo joins Kofi Abanga who is also to leave the club after the expiration of his contract.
"Whilst there were speculations that Hearts will negotiate for their re-engagement for two seasons each, the club has opted not to renew their respective contracts and has therefore wished them good luck as they begin to look elsewhere to continue with their playing career," Hearts said in a statement in their official newspaper.
Gilbert Fianenyo joined Hearts of Oak in 2012 from Heart of Lions in a big money move.
He however struggled to live up to expectations, owing this to his battles with injuries and poor form.
