A year ago today, the Normalization Committee led by Dr. Kofi Amoah disputed a claim that the Federation of International Football Association(FIFA) has cleared former Ghana Football Association boss Kwesi Nyantakyi of all financial impropriety.

This came after Ghanasoccernet published that Mr. Nyantakyi and members of the Executive Committee under his tenure have all been exonerated from all counts of corruption after FIFA forensic audit.

The publication further stated that the forensic audit conducted by FIFA on the Ghana Football Association (GFA) found no acts of corruption or financial impropriety on Kwesi Nyantakyi during his tenure.

The Normalization Committee through its Member Naa Adofoley Nortey rubbished the claim, denying any knowledge of such a report at the office of the committee.

The Normalisation Committee has disputed a claim that FIFA has cleared former GFA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi of all financial impropriety.

Ghanasoccernet on Monday revealed that Mr Nyantakyi and members of the Executive Committee under his tenure have all been exonerated from all counts of corruption after FIFA forensic audit.

It said a forensic audit conducted by FIFA on the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has found no acts corruption or financial impropriety on Kwesi Nyantakyi during his tenure,

But member of the NC Naa Adofoley Nortey rubbished the claim, denying any knowledge of such a report at the office of the committee.

"I was very surprised when I read that FIFA has finished with their forensic audit and there was no charges against Mr Nyantakyi, she said as quoted by modernghana.com.

"The Normalization Committee have not received anything from FIFA.

"We know how FIFA works when it comes to communicating to the public. Visit the website of FIFA and check if there is anything like that.

Naa Adofoley has categorically falsified the report, urging the public to disregard it.

"There is nothing like that there and I can confirm to you that we have not received anything like that," she said.

"The publication was false and I will urge the public not to pay attention to it."

"We were even discussing when FIFA will give us the feedback on the forensic audit and as a I speak nothing has been communicated to us from FIFA. The media is there to give accurate information and not to tell lies about the Normalization Committee."

Mr Nyantakyi resigned as the president of the Ghana Football Association after he was captured in the 'Number 12' investigative video.

He is however challenging his lifetime ban from football-related activities at the Court of Arbitration of Sports.

He has also sent Anas to court in Ghana claiming the violation of his human rights and also seeking damages for defamation.
