Former CHRAJ boss, Emile Short was among the winners at the final MTN CEO's invitational golf tournament of 2015 which teed off to a grand success at the Celebrity Golf Club in Sakumono, near Tema on Saturday.
Mr. Short was the toast of players and guests as he received wild applause and compliments after topping men's group B category of the one day 18-hole event organised by Ghana's leading telecommunications company to reac out to their valued customers.
Emile Short beat into 2nd and 3rd places respectively, Commodore Contor and Mike Zheng from Thailand.
Elsewhere, men's Group A was won by Ebo DaCosta followed by Ole Aronson from Norway, who deals in helicopters and Eddie Donteh in that order.
Evergreen Mona Captan was once again atop the podium after beating the ladies' group A category, Mercy Verna and Leticia Owusu Amponsah could only settle for second and third places respectively.
In the Ladies Group B, the line up was Joyce Aroson in first position, followed by Moreen Akuoku and Catherine Boateng in 2nd and 3rd respectively.
All the winners took home trophies and souvenirs from MTN Ghana whose acting CEO, Samuel Koranteng in a speech congratulated the participants and all who contributed to the successful organisation of the tournament spanning the past seven years during which it has travelled to among them, Achimota, Tema, Tafo, Tarkwa, Kumasi and Takoradi.
"We cherish our customers for their loyalty throughout the year and this is one way of ensuring regular interaction with this key segment and also a rare opportunity for one-on-one interactions and also to say thank you for their loyalty," said Mr. Koranteng.
"This is our last tournament for the year, we have good plans next year to engage the golfing community. It's a platform our high valued customers cherish so we shall continue to offer them the platform for the great friendship and ideas we continue to exchange each time we meet on the golf course," he added.
