Immediate past Ghana boxing boss Moses Foh-Amoaning is adamant boxer Osumanu Adama can rise up to still realize the dream to be a world champion.
Adama lost his first world title opportunity last Wednesday when losing a unanimous points’ decision to IBF Middleweight champion Daniel Geale.
*Geale, nicknamed Real Deal improved to 27-1, 15 KOs following a 117-111, 118-110 and 115-113 verdict to condemn Ghanaian Adama to 20-3, 15 KOs in the bout at the Derwent Entertainment Centre in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. *
*It may have been a major setback for Adama nicknamed Machine Gun but Mr. Foh_Amoaning who supervised the early career of Adama believes the boxer will be back soon challenging for a world title.*
*“He’s a very durable individual and I know he will be back. He just needs some two quick fights and I believe he will be back in line for a world title fight,” the former GBA Chairman told Joy FM the morning after.*
*Foh-Amoaning added: “It’s disappointing to come so close and not win the title but all is not lost for Osumanu. *
*“He’s beaten some good opponents in the past so he will be back. I know the guy and all he needs is motivation, taking on a ten-round fight or two and he will be alright.”*
