Former Aduana Stars and Kumasi Asante Kotoko winger is set to join Elmina Sharks after parting ways with the Champions.

The winger who was released by Aduana Stars after helping them win the Ghana Premier League last season is close to joining the Elmina based club.

Mpong, who is a former Ghana youth star is expected to finalize a move in the coming days after agreeing to joining Elmina Sharks.

Elmina Sharks have lost a couple of their players in the transfer window are looking forward to beefing up their squad for the upcoming season.

The club has not made any official signing yet but Richard Mpong will be their first signing of the window.

Elmina Sharks finished an impressive 9th position in their first season in the Ghana Premier League.
