Former Asante Kotoko coach, Steven Polack has left the shores of the country nearly a month after the Management of the club parted ways with him after failing to qualify the club to the next round of the CAF Confederations Cup campaign.

The English trainer joined the Porcupine Warriors in the middle of 2017 from Berekum Chelsea following the team’s disappointing form which saw the team go on an eight-match winless streak under Zdravko Lugarusic.

A deadly motor accident involving Kotoko’s team bus on the Nkawkaw stretch of the Accra-Kumasi Highway on July 12, 2017, affected Polack’s revival efforts at Kotoko but ended the 2016/17 Ghana Premier League season at the 5th place on the league table and won the MTN FA Cup defeating Hearts of Oak 3:1 at the Tamale Sports Stadium.
