Former Asante Kotoko player Mark Adu Amofah graduates with a Master's degree in the USA

Former Asante Kotoko player Mark Adu Amofah has graduated with a master's degree from the University of Maryland.

The former US Army officer has now earned his third degree since 2020, when he obtained his first in Computer Information Systems.

He announced this new achievement via a post on Facebook, expressing gratitude to his family for their support while stating that he is optimistic about the next step in his career after football.

"Today, I turn the page to an exciting new chapter as I graduate with my MBA. This journey has been one of growth, resilience, and relentless pursuit of knowledge. To my family, friends, and mentors - your support has been my anchor. To my fellow graduates, we did it! Here's to the countless opportunities ahead and using our wisdom to make a positive impact. The future is not just something we enter; it's something we create. Let's go build it," he wrote on his Facebook wall.

He joined the US Army after his retirement from football, where he served under the Air Defense Artillery Unit before retiring from the service in 2022.

Adu Amofah serves as the Founder of AA Sports International.

His desire for the development of grassroots football and involvement in humanitarian activities led to the establishment of this non-profit organization, which is registered both in Ghana and the United States.
