Former Ghana U-17 coach Laryea Kingston has accepted a new coaching position at RPS Academies in the United States.

He will contribute to developing young football talents alongside a team of coaches at the multi-sport academies located in Saint Lucie, Florida.

Kingston, who holds a UEFA Licence B coaching certificate, brings a wealth of experience to the role.

He expressed enthusiasm for the new challenge despite leaving the Black Starlets during the U-17 WAFU B Championship in Accra.

Kingston explained that RPS Academies had been following his career and approached him with the opportunity.

His experience with the Right to Dream model aligns well with the academy's focus on combining education with sports performance.

"I am very much at home working in an environment that combines education with sports performance, but with even bigger responsibilities this time," Kingston shared.

He plans to expand the talent search beyond the current US-based African players, aiming to scout for promising young athletes across the African continent, particularly in West Africa.

Kingston resigned as Black Starlets coach after failing to qualify the team for the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
