Former Hearts of Oak trainer Kim Grant is now the new head Coach for Czech side Prague Raptors FC.

After Coaching spells in Ghana, Grant secures himself a job in Europe months after leaving the Ghanaian giants.

Grant mutually parted ways with Hearts of Oak early in the season following strings of poor results.

An announcement was made by Prague Raptors FC who confirmed the appointment of the ex-Ghana International.

“We are very excited to announce ex-Charlton, Luton & Millwall striker, Kim Grant, has joined the Prague Raptors Men’s coaching team.

“Kim has had a long and illustrious career playing football in England, Belgium, Portugal & Singapore as well as earning 7 caps for Ghana.

“Kim has gone on to gain great experience via several coaching positions, most recently at Ghanaian top-flight side Accra Hearts Of Oak S.C.”

Prague Raptors FC President Daz Moss is however elated with the appointment of the former Elmina Sharks Technical Director.

“‘Kim & I started speaking a couple of years ago when we first started the Raptors project – of course he had other commitments then but as soon as he came back to Prague he was interested to get involved,” Daz Moss told the club’s official website.

“We are really excited to have someone with Kim’s experience join our coaching team and believe he will be a big help to Jon, Kyle & the players whilst he is here”

The 47-year-old also worked with Ghana Premier League side Ebusua Dwarfs.
