Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko coach Abdul Razak is being heavily linked with the vacant coaching job at Ghana Premier League side Accra Hearts of Oak.

The 1978 African Footballer of the Year according to multiple reports in the media is being considered for the role after the Phobians did away with three coaches during and after the season.

Hearts started the season with Japanese trainer Kenichi Yatsuhatsi before Sergio Traguil took over mid-way through the season only to be replaced by his assistant Yaw Preko who quit last week.

Razak is tipped to secure the top job at Hearts of Oak because of his experience in coaching on the African continent with Stade Malien.

He won the League trophy with Kotoko in 2004 and was recently appointed an ambassador of the 2017 AFCON.
