Madagascan club, Fosa Juniors have given indications that they will not play the Confederation Cup eliminator game with Aduana Stars at the Dormaa Park, citing CAF’s regulation that maintains that, if the venue for a game is more 200 km away from the capital, the match will be played in the capital.

The match is scheduled for Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Dormaa but the Madagascans, who have officially complained to CAF want the game in Kumasi or Sunyani. They are expected in the country today.

“We have written to CAF to do something about the distance from Kumasi to Dormaa, it’s against CAF’s regulations so we would want the match to be played at Sunyani or Kumasi” Communications Manager of Fosa Juniors, Juniors Ando Harivola told Kumasi based Oyerepa FM.

“Our advance party has been in town since Sunday to prepare the way for the team’s arrival today. We expect the team in Ghana today [Wednesday], we will be lodging in Accra up until we get a response from CAF on our complaint concerning the distance from Kumasi to Dormaa. Should CAF tell us to still play in Dormaa, we will but prefers Sunyani or Kumasi.”
