Ghana defender Francis Dickoh has left Danish giants FC Midtjylland to join Danish Super League rivals Sonderjyske, GHANAsoccernet.com can announce.
The 33-year-old was limited to bench appearances at the Danish FA Cup holders and has decided to join the mid-table side where he will earn more playing time.
Dickoh made his debut appearance in the Sonderjyske squad when they won 2-1 against AaB last weekend.
The former FC Utrecht defender spent four seasons at Midtjylland but fell down the pecking order as he was unable to compete for starting roles.
Dickoh was born to Ghanaian parents in Denmark and started his professional career with Nordsjælland but travelled abroad to play for clubs like Hibernian, Aris and Utrecht.
He featured 13 times for Ghana at senior level and was part of the Ghana squad for the 2006 AFCON.
