Frank Acheampong biding his time

Debutant Frank Acheampong is not perturbed by his inability to make it into the starting line-up when the Black Stars played Senegal in the opening Group C game last Monday.

He will equally not be perturbed if he is not selected for today’s game against Algeria as what is most important is to see the team triumph.

“Playing in the first team should not be a bother now, because this is my first major tournament with the senior national team.

“I will need time to justify myself and prove to the coaches that I am good enough so I have to bid my time.

Touching on today’s game, Acheampong was confident the team will secure the much needed victory against the North Africans to remain in the tournament. Acheampong is making his debut in the continental competition.
