Counsel for Africa Origin Travel and Sports Tourism (AOT&ST), Samson Ladi Ayenini, on Tuesday, sought the permission of the Presidential Commission of Inquiry investigating the participation of the Black Stars in Brasil, to cross-examine Fred Darko, Project Coordinator of Ghana Brasil 2014 World Cup Planning Committee.
Lardi Ayeni, made the submission to the Commission before his client Samson Deen, Chief Executive of AOT&ST testified before the commission.
AOT&ST, was one of the three agencies granted the permission to airlift fans to Brasil to support the Black Stars.
According to Lardi Ayenini, Darko, on August 27, questioned the financial capacity of his client to execute the task.
Darko, told the Commission that, most of the challenges encountered by supporters in Brasil, were due to the inability of the Planning Committee to conduct due diligence on the Travel Tours who were granted the permission to airlift fans to Brasil.
Commissioner, Moses Foh-Amoaning, asked the Counsel to submit a typed application and the permission will be granted.
āIām sure you were in hurry that is why you submitted a hand written application. Please go and type it and your request will be granted,ā Foh-Amoaning told the Counsel.
