Frimpong, Attram clash in Saudi-Arabia

Two members of Ghana's squad to the last Africa Cup of Nations, in Egypt, Joetex Frimpong and Godwin Attram would clash this evening when their clubs, Al-Nassr and Al-Shabab meet in a league match,in Riyadh, Saudi-Arabia.

It would be the first time both players would be meting since Frimpong joined Nassr on loan from former two-time African champions, Enyimba FC of Nigeria, in February.

Interestingly, both players were not selected for the last international friendly against Mexico, in the United States of America.

The match promises to be very interesting as the duo would be seeking for goals to consolidate the positions of their clubs on the 12-team table.

Frimpong would be missing his partner in the attack, Saad Al-Harthi, who joined Al-Ittihad on loan till the end of the season. Al-Harthi, who is a Saudi-Arabian international had paired Frimpong since the Ghanaian joined the club.

Attram's Shabab are having a good time this term with 44 points from 19 matches to lead the pack. On the other hand, Frimpong's Nassr are eight on the table after securing 20 points from 18 matches.

The top four teams on the table would qualify for the final rounds of the league.
