Ghanaian forward Maxwell Boadu Acosty is set to sign for English Championship side Fulham, according to reports in Italy.

Acosty will see his contract ending after June 30 this year, but he has to look elsewhere as the Gigliati are not willing to offer him a new deal.

Italian side Genoa is reported to be interested in the 24-year-old’s signature, but the Championship side is in the lead to capture the Ghanaian.

The Ghana international contract with Fiorentina runs out at the end of this month and is likely to join the London based club on as a free agent, as Kickgh.com understands.

Acosty joined Fiorentina in 2009 but has been on loan to Chievo, Carpi Modena and Latina.
