Fundraising for Black Stars’ Future

Omanye Money Fundraising for Black Stars’ Future

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) have today announced a fundraising initiative to raise money for Ghana’s national football team the ‘Black Stars’. The effort to raise money for the team is a joint one, between the GFA and recently launched payment, ticketing and donations company Omanye Money.

The campaign titled ‘Help Black Stars Shine’ was launched on October 1st and will be running until 31st December. It is hoped that during this period 1 million people will donate 5 Ghana Cedis, which is roughly equivalent to £1. The funds that are raised will be used to clothe, feed, transport the team to their various fixtures as well as ensuring they receive the best training possible.

Omanye Money’s donation site is the sole means of donating to the cause, as the company has been chosen as the team’s official fundraising partner. Black Stars’ well-wishers who would like to support the cause simply need to sign on the Omanye platform and follow the instructions provided to complete the donation process.
