The Ghana League Clubs Associations (Ghalca) has officially unveiled the G8 tournament at the True Vine Hotel in Kumasi.
Eight clubs will be competing in the tournament that will be held between January 6 to 21 next year.
The newly three promoted Division One clubs – Dreams FC, Karela United and Techiman Eleven Wonders will be pitching their strength against the might of five Premier League sides – league champions, Aduana Stars and FA Cup winners, Asante Kotoko; Hearts of Oak, Ebusua Dwarfs and Medeama, who came in at the last minute to replace WAFA who pulled out.
Two venues, Cape Coast and Kumasi will be used with Asante Kotoko, Dreams FC, Aduana Stars and Eleven Wonders playing in Kumasi while Hearts of Oak, Ebusua Dwarfs, Karela United and Medeama play in Cape Coast.
