GAABA plans special championship to outdoor new ring

Accra, Aug. 9, GNA - The Greater Accra Amateur Boxing

Association (GAABA) has planned a special championship in

October to outdoor a new state-of-the-art boxing ring. The ring, valued at 5,000 Sterling was donated by the Haringey

Police Boxing Club, a United Kingdom-based amateur boxing club

last February. Gideon Quartey, Acting Chairman of GAAAB told GNA Sports

level. He said that the event will be graced by two officials of the

Haringey Boxing Club, who will officially hand over the facility to

the Association. Mr Quartey was full of praise for the Ghana Olympic Committee

(GOC), National Sports Council (NSC) and Aviance Ghana Limited
