Top football administrators, George Afriyie, Osei Palmer, and Fred Pappoe are expected to face the vetting committee today as they seek to legitimize their candidacy to ensure they get to contest for the presidential seat at the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
The election period is less than a month away with the football community keen to go to the polls to elect new leaders that will lead the new regime once the Normalization Committee (NC) set up by FIFA and government of Ghana to reform football leaves office.
Vetting of the presidential aspirants for the GFA elections started on Friday with the likes of Kurt Okraku, Lawyer Amanda Clinton, Nana Yaw Amponsah, and Lawyer George Ankomah taking their turns.
The grilling of aspirants continues today with George Afriyie, Wilfred Osei Kwaku Palmer and Fred Pappoe set to go before the 5-man panel.
