Ghana Football Association (GFA), Presidential aspirant Fred Pappoe, has said that he was ready to merge with any of the six presidential hopefuls for the FA top seat.
According to the Accra Great Olympics Board Member, it is too late to merge now because they have gone through vetting and awaiting vetting results.
In an exclusive interview on Happy FM’s Wamputu Sports, the experienced football administrator said: “I will bring all the candidates who are contesting the FA top slot together to help move the game forward because they are all brilliant people who can help in the growth of the game.”
“I was ready to join forces with any of the candidates. Only if the two of us agreed with each other in terms of ideology, integrity and the person’s capabilities. But right now I think it’s late to consider that because vetting and other things have been done already,” he revealed.
Pappoe is battling against six other candidates for the right to be called the next President of the GFA when the elections are held on October 25.
