GFA Elections: It’s sad I got only one vote – Rosalind Amoh concedes

Defeated aspirant for the women Defeated aspirant for the women

Defeated aspirant for the women’s football slot on the Ghana Football Association executive council Rosalind Amoh has expressed her sadness after getting only one vote during Thursday’s elections.

Madam Abiba Atta won the slot with 8 votes beating her closet competitor Evelyn Nsiah by only one vote.

Rosalind Amoh polled only one vote while Edna Quagraine had no vote from the delegates.

Speaking exclusively to footballmadeinghana.com after election, Rosalind Amoh revealed all the delegates were rooting for the owner of the fabulous ladies and she isn’t surprised Madam Abiba won the contest.

The SWAG treasurer also expressed her dissatisfaction with the number of votes she amassed insisting those who promised to vote for her didn’t fulfil their promise.

“You can’t change the results , what made me sad is the fact that, of all those who promised to vote for me, only one person voted for me, but that’s the beauty of elections. People will listen to you, but at the end will vote for the one who will convinced them.

“It’s not a disappointment, thankfully it’s not a life and death issue either, I had wanted to be given the mandate to serve, but that didn’t happen.

” I’m still alive and will not hesitate to help when I’m called upon”

she continued “We give thanks to God for everything, I believe the delegates knew what they were looking.it wasn’t the long talks that matters.

“Almost all the delegates were rooting for Madam Habiba Atta because she initiated women’s football in the country” She added
