The failure of sportswear manufacturing company L-Sporto to provide jerseys and other kits of the Black Stars has prompted the Ghana Football Association to notify the American based company to make good their contractual commitment to Ghana.
L-Sporto entered into a kit sponsorship deal with Ghana in September 2002 under which the sportswear makers had 120 days to deliver 50% of the kits to Ghana.
The 120 days have elapsed prompting questions in the media about the ability of L-Sporto to deliver on the terms of the contract.
The legal advisor to L-Sporto, Ernest Thompson however told JOYonline that the delay in the arrival of the kits for the Black Stars is due to an arrangement that the GFA reached with the kit wear manufacturers to send the goods to Miami.
