Ghana Football Association boss Kwasi Nyantakyi has told the local media not to tag his outfit as only interested in the Black Stars.

He made those comments when he visited the Black Starlets team in Gabon- where they are participating at this year’s Africa Junior Championship.

According to him, the local media have demonstrated that they are only interested in covering the Black Stars.

“The media men who are here; we appreciate you so much. We know that people criticise us so much by saying the GFA is a Black Stars FA,” he said
“It has come to our notice that some of the media men are also Black Stars media,” he emphasized.

He continued: “I as the Ghana FA boss, I’m here right now. I watch women’s matches, I watch men’s matches, I watch junior national team matches, but the media men select Black Stars matches.”

“Now the big guys among you are not here. Are they? No! they’re not because it’s not Black Stars. Maybe by the time that we shall get to the final, some of them will swallow their pride and come.”
