Ghana Football Association Presidential aspirant Nana Yaw Amponsah is reportedly leading the vetting results ahead of the GFA elections on October 25.
The owner of Division One League side Phar Rangers FC finished top among the seven candidates for the vacant position after a careful examination by the vetting committee.
According to sources, Mr. Amponsah beats off competition from former GFA vice presidents George Afriyie and Fred Pappoe, ex-Black Stars Management Committee chairman Wilfried Osei, Lawyers George Ankoma Mensah and Amanda Clinton as well as Dreams FC Executive chairman Kurt Okraku with the higher percentage.
The vetting results of the various vacant position at the Ghana Football Association will be announced in the coming days.
The 2019 Ghana Football Association Presidential elections will be held on October 25.
