Ghana FA President Kwesi Nyantekyi has confirmed talks are ongoing between the FA and Dutch-born Ghanaian attacker Elvis Manu for a possible Nationality switch to play for Ghana.
Manu, 21, has been a major target for the Black Stars following his excellent performance for Dutch side Feyenoord Rotterdam in the Eredivise League.
The former Holland U17 striker has hit massive form since returning from his loan spell at Cambuur.
His impressive performance for Feyenoord saw him earn a call-up by Holland U21 coach Remy Reynierse.
Nyantekyi has however confirmed talks with the Excelsior attacker.
“We are still monitoring Elvis Manu and some talks have taken place between him and the GFA,” Nyantekyi disclosed to Starr Fm.
Ghana will be hoping to secure the services of the impressive goal poacher ahead of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Manu has bagged seven goals for Feyenoord this season.
