President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Okraku, has affirmed the association's commitment to supporting Ghanaian clubs competing in Africa.

FC Samartex and Nsoatreman FC have advanced to the second round of the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup, respectively.

The Ghanaian champions will face Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca, while the FA Cup winners will take on Algeria's CS Constantine.

Last season, Medeama SC and Dreams FC reached the group stages of their respective competitions, with Dreams FC progressing to the semi-finals of the Confederation Cup.

Okraku emphasized the GFA's goal of seeing Ghanaian teams reach the finals of their competitions, stating, "Our vision has always been to see them go all the way to the grand finale. This year, our aim is for both teams to reach the finals, and everyone at the FA is dedicated to that vision," he told Micky Jnr during the CAF Coaches Symposium in Ivory Coast.
