Accra, Sept 8, GNA - The Management Board of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has sent a goodwill massage to the Management and players of Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak for their upcoming Confederation Cup matches in Sudan and Cameroon respectively.
A message signed by Dr Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe, Chairman of the Management Board of the GFA said, "It is our prayer that you will on this occasion be selfless, dedicated and focused on the assignment ahead of you to achieve success"
The message continued that, "You have done it many a time, do not look back and aim high, knowing that your numerous supporters back home are expecting nothing less than victory from you."
It reminded the two teams to keep the flag of Ghana high irrespective of the challenge.
Kotoko will on Saturday be in Sudan to take on Al Hilal in Khartoum whilst Hearts will be in Garoua, Cameroon on Sunday to take on Coton Sports.
The matches will be the second for the two teams in their respective groups after they both opened the mini league competition with home wins.
Hearts beat Santos of South Africa by a lone goal whilst Kumasi Asante Kotoko thumped Enugu Rangers of Nigeria 3-1. 08 Sept 04
