The Ghana Football Association will appoint the seven coaches for the various national teams from 164 applications by mud October, KickOffGhana.com has learnt.
The new look emergency committee of the GFA is looking to restructure the technical composition of the various national teams with the heads of the first priority.
And at deadline time, the applications have flooded in from veteran coaches, young ones and expatriates.
Those 164 coaches will discover their fate when the Ghana Football Association draws up a shortlist of the coaches before conducting interviews in the first week of October. The GFA expects to make announcements relating to the various positions in mid October.
The national Under-17 job has generated the most interest with 41 coaches including former Black Stars captain C.K Akunnor in the pack.
The Black Satellites had 33 individuals applying including Orlando Wellington man who assisted Sellas Tetteh to the world title two years ago and then oversaw a disastrous and failed campaign to retain the title this year.
