Ghana FA technical director Francis Oti Akenten believes the country can tap into Kenichi Yatsuhashi’s expertise to help in developing grassroots football.
The Japanese-American trainer, who handles Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak, has a track record of nurturing budding players into megastars.
His work this season with the Phobians has been testimony of what he can offer is given the chance.
Akenten says Yatsuhashi has got something to offer Ghana football.
"As technical director and a specialist in youth development it’s important to take good note of all the coaches in Ghana who have the same or similar mentality because it will help our own football," Akenten is quoted by Hearts News.
"Youth development is the future of every football nation and if we don’t want to be left behind the we must make use of coach Keni because he has demonstrated that he can be trusted."
Yatsuhashi remains unbeaten in three league matches and yet to concede a goal.
