Ghana Football Association president, Kurt Okraku says his recent engagements with the international federations and communities have paved the way for the GFA to receive technical and logistical support from these mother bodies.
Kurt Okraku upon assuming office as FA president visited the FIFA president Gianni Infantino, CAF President Ahmad Ahmad, the Spanish and Hungarian Ambassadors, and others.
The meetings were to establish a positive working relationship in developing football in Ghana.
Speaking in an interview on Joy FM’s Sports Link program, Kurt indicated that the visit to FIFA was very interactive where he got the opportunity to meet all departmental heads of the Federation and he was able to secure some logistical support from the world football governing body.
Kurt Okraku revealed in the interview that he was locked in a meeting with FIFA president Gianni Infantino for close to four hours.
He further said that his visit abroad has paved way for the Ghana Football Association to expect technical, logistical support from FIFA and other Football Associations.
The Ghana Football Association recently announced that the top four coaches at the end of the Ghana League season for both men and women will get an attachment with foreign clubs which is all part of the benefits of his recent trip abroad.
