Officials of the British company are expected to arrive in Ghana on Tuesday evening for the discussions with officials of the GFA the next day.

Mr Kwesi Nyantakyie, Acting Chairman of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) told the GNA Sports that they are hoping for a fruitful agreement to ensure that kits sponsorship is secured for the national team.

He said the company would send down samples of the jerseys for the scrutiny of both parties and possible agreement at the end of the discussions.

Mr Nyantakyie said all things being equal the Black Stars will be using an Umbro designed jersey in their next World Cup qualifying game against the Stallions of Burkina Faso on June 5.

He said the deal will put to rest the long standing kit problem facing the team for the past years as well as serve as a source of motivation for the team. 10 May 05
