Information gathered by sportscrusader.com has it that officials of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) are set to apply for a service passport for newly appointed Black Stars Coach Avram Grant before the team leaves for the upcoming African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Equatorial Guinea.
Grant, who is an Israeli, indicated that his Nationality won’t affect his work as the Black Stars coach and debunked reports he cannot travel to some countries because of his Israeli Passport.
With that, the GFA will want to safe guard their new coach by applying for a service passport which will help him to work in the country as well.
Grant during his unveiling ceremony at the GFA premises stated that he will supervise the various national teams hence the need for the service passport so he will be able to monitor the upcoming 2014/2015 season.
