GHALCA boss Alhaji Raji has apologized to Aduana Stars and the people of Brong Ahafo after he was alleged to have described the Dormaa-based Club as a ‘village club’.

Alhaji Raji had previously denied making such comments about the Club.

The football administrator was said to have poured hash words on the former Ghana Premier League Champions during the GHALCA G6 finals with Asante Kotoko.

The situation eventually led to threats by some Brong-Ahafo Clubs who decided to withdraw from GHALCA.

Raji has however showed remorse by rendering an apology to the Club though does not admit the offense.

“No one would hear you have insulted him and the person would be happy,” he told Asempa FM.

“I apologize to Nana Dormaahene for what he heard and also apologise to the people of Brong Ahafo.

“I was once a director of Berlin FC, so I am associated with the people of Brong Ahafo.”

Former GHALCA JY Appiah is said to have championed the course for Clubs in the Brong-Ahafo to pull out of the Association.
