Elections into Executive positions of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) have been suspended indefinitely.
This is to give the interim executives of the welfare body enough room to compile their report of audited accounts for presentation to the General Assembly before elections can be held.
The new development will definitely satisfy a section of GHALCA’s membership who have been craving for some acountability and transparency during the tenure of the interim administration led by Alhaji Ali Raji.
Meanwhile nominations have been closed ahead of the elections originally slated for December 14.
