Accra, Jan 18, GNA - The Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) on Thursday said it would place its giant-screen television at the disposal of its members, particularly, sports journalists in Accra covering the Ghana 2008 African Nations Cup Tournament, who would not be able to cover the events at the match venue.
A statement signed by Mr. Bright Blewu, GJA General Secretary said the 42 inch television would be available for viewing by both local and foreign journalists at the Ghana International Press Centre (GIPC) throughout the tournament, starting with the opening ceremony on Sunday, January 20, 2008.
It said the restaurant at the centre would remain opened to the public throughout the tournament.
